These photographs were made with a Hanimex 35HS compact, a really simple plastic fixed-lens. The film was shot, rewound and reshot in Portsmouth, Brighton, Conwy, Liverpool and the Shropshire Hills. The double exposure created a whole roll of overlapping frames from which I could select and compose images during scanning, creating echoes and recalls between photographs.
